Dr. Samir H. Assaad-Khalil is a Professor of Internal Medicine at the Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine Unit of Diabetes and Metabolism. He is a member of the Council of the Diabetes Education Study Group (DESG) and European Association for the Study of Diabetes (EASD). He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Egyptian Association of Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism and has authored over 150 publications in the field of diabetes, lipidology, and metabolic diseases.
