Dr. Steven Edelman is a professor of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University of California, San Diego. He is Director of the Diabetes Care Clinic at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in San Diego as well as the founder and director of Taking Control of Your Diabetes (TCOYD). In 2009, he was named Educator of the Year at the American Diabetes Association Scientific Sessions.
